i.MX51 is the first ARMv7 SoC from Freescale; it's Cortex-A8 based.
i.MX51 had three tape outs so far, TO1, TO2, and TO3. Tape outs earlier than 3 can deadlock when running some NEON code.
Known board implementations:
- Freescale Babbage board, rev 1.0, 2.0, 2.5, 3.0 (revision indicates TO); this is a reference design and a developer board
- Pegatron nettop; used for demo purposes
- Pegatron netbook; used for demo purposes
