Why Are There Multiple Hardware Packs?

We have multiple hwpacks because they were built from different sources. The ones with "x11-base" include graphics support from the vendor. Ones prefixed with "lt-" were built from landing team kernel trees.

There are two ways you can download and install a build. The fastest way is to use one of our pre-built images from:

You can find your hardware pack based on the naming scheme:

  • hwpack_linaro-<YOUR_HWPACK>_<DATE>_armel_supported.tar.gz
