4. Issues

At time of release, a number of bugs were found to affect this image, all are expected to be fixed by next release. They are:

  • 628848 - flash-kernel depends on uboot-mkimage for omap, but uboot-mkimage is missing from the headless image

    • Due to a kernel packaging issue uboot-mkimage is not included in the OMAP image. When upgrading the kernel apt will complain. To fix this please run apt-get install uboot-mkimage && dpkg --pending --configure.

  • 600359 - ureadahead generating oom messages during boot.

  • 615765 - Host strip corrupts cross-built armel archives

  • 627777 - ubuntu-bug complains "not a genuine Linaro package"

  • 627606 - /etc/motd refers to www.ubuntu-on-arm.com

  • 627779 - corrupted text on console when deleting text
