In order to know which changes can be upstreamed to AOSP we must know that the copyright for those changes are held by Linaro.
To be able to upstream changes to AOSP Linaro has signed an Android Corporate Contributor License Grant. It is required that Linaro holds the copyright for the code that is to be upstreamed.
There is further information on this page https://wiki.linaro.org/Platform/Android/LinaroAndroidContributionProcess.
As a maintainer of the Linaro Android main branch (Generic Build) I want to know that Linaro hold the copyright for every commit so that I know that everything can be upstreamed by Linaro.
Require that an agreement to yield copyright to Linaro be signed before any non Linaro contributor can push changes to the Linaro Gerrit instance.
- Should collecting signed agreements and adding permissions to Gerrit be done manually?
